Martial Arts Stage, Fiesta Asia, DC, 2023.

Fiesta Asia is on Saturday, 18 May 2024:

  • near 555 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW,
  • from 11:00am to 7:00pm.

We will be at the Martial Arts Stage, now known as the Champion's Arena, where martial arts schools from DC, MD, and VA come and show off their skills. Performances start at 11am, and end around 5p or 6p.

Look for tall, triangular banners flapping in the wind.

This is a spirited event that asks surrounding martial arts schools to come together and show off their skills.

HTCMLI Lucky Lions will be there from 2 to 3pm. Adults and children will perform forms.

The big dragon will be in the center of the festival for picture-taking until the parade around 1pm.

In addition to the martial arts stage there are music stages, cultural displays and sessions, all for free. All manner of food vendors will be there too in case you get hungry. Check out www.fiestaasia.org.

Kung Fu students log time on professional flight simulators.

Each contribution allows us to create and teach programs like the Summer Camp Flight School. In that program, a licensed and experienced pilot taught our Kung Fu summer students how to fly on professional level flight trainers. Experience on those trainers was logged for each student and qualifies as experience for a pilot's license.

Free Summer Camp

Free Summer Camp for DC Kids

Free summer camp for DC residents ages 6-18 starts late June 2024. Classes meet from noon to 6pm, Monday through Friday. Students learn Kung Fu, Lion Dance, Dragon Dance, African Drumming and go on field trips.
